With the acquisition of Haysite Reinforced Plastics und Synthane Taylor Ltd. Isovolta optimizes its global presence in the Americas and brings the product range of polyester based laminates but also the pultrusion production technology to its portfolio.
Haysite, located in Erie, Pennsylvania, is among the worldwide leaders in the formulation and processing of thermoset composite materials. At the forefront in technological advances in composites since 1954, Haysite maintains its competitive advantage through unparalleled product innovation and exceptional customer service. Haysite offers one of the broadest product lines in the fiberglass reinforced plastics industry, including laminated sheet, custom molded parts, pultruded sheets and profiles, and engineered molding compound.
Synthane Taylor Ltd, located in Great Montreal Area, QC, is one of the leading companies in Canada for supplying all forms of composite materials, molded and fabricated products. As an ISO 9001:2015 registered company, Synthane Taylor provides manufacturing, integration and engineering solutions to diversified industries including power generation, transportation, water treatment, aerospace, defense, electrical, electronic, and many more.
In 2017 Haysite and Synthane Taylor had consolidated sales of around 27 Mio $ and employ around 100 employees on both sites. Both entities will be part of the Business Unit Composite Materials.
