Fundermax: Strengthening the Paper & Packaging Business Division

Hubregtse B.V., Papiboard B.V., and West Pack Emballasje AS have been fully owned by the Fundermax Group since January 3, 2023.

These three companies operate production facilities in the Netherlands and Norway, collectively employing approximately 50 employees, specializing in sustainable solid board packaging solutions. The acquisition marks a significant step in the consistent and profitable development of the Paper & Packaging division, which emerged within the Fundermax Group with the acquisition of Ranheim Paper & Board in 2019.

Through this acquisition, Fundermax strengthens its value chain, gets closer to key customers, particularly in the Nordic fishing industry, increases its capacity and flexibility, expands its product portfolio, and enters new markets. For example, Fundermax also acquires a leading market position in the South American fishing industry.

Hubregtse B.V., Papiboard B.V., and West Pack Emballasje AS bring extensive experience to the Fundermax Group and will be integrated into it. Local management will remain responsible and will be supported in the future by the management of Ranheim Paper & Board and Fundermax, with appropriate organizational integration.
